“Okay, how about the same location that gets a makeover and new name? Heck yes, that’s new to us, too! In fact, after Sip & Kranz went through several iterations at this fab Pearl District spot on Jamison Square (from kid-friendly café with playroom to vaguely Scandinavian laptop parking lot), the new owners’ focused vision of a modern Vienna coffee house brings a lot to this space—dark wood, mod white chairs, and colorful design accents add a grown-up sophistication without seeming harsh, and though the menu is simple, it’s studded with standouts like ricotta-stuffed sweet peppers, chicken salad on a yam bun, and fresh roasted Intelligentsia pour over coffee. From Kettleman’s bagels to local wines, it seems like it would be easy to take them up on their offer to ‘linger as you wish.’”
